We expect that you will have demonstrable experience of strong educational leadership and management skills.  You will be a great communicator, engaging and have the ability to embrace change.  You will be able to engage children, staff, governors and parents in developing the school’s image and presence within the wider community.  You will develop our core values and lead the school.

Teaching Assistant Vacancy for EYFS/KS1

Grade 4 scale point 4 to 5 - £19,264 (9.99 per hour) to £19,650 (£10.19 per hour) (pro rata).

 

Hours of work:  8.30am to 3.00pm (term time only) 30 hours per week.  This includes lunchtime supervision for half an hour per day.  A half hour lunch break will also be given.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring, self-motivated Teaching Assistant to join our committed team.  The job will involve working with individuals or groups of children on a range of curriculum activities and programmes.  The successful candidate will show that they are able to support children with additional social and individual emotional needs.  Full training will be given by the class teacher/SENCo.  The successful candidate will have a positive approach to behaviour management and will have high expectations for all children.  In return, we can offer a lively, successful school environment with a highly motivated and supportive staff.

 

This post is subject to a DBS check.

Vacancy

 

School Crossing Patrol (SCPO)

 

Oxfordshire County Council are looking for a School Crossing Patrol Officer posted near to St Mary’s Primary School, Chipping Norton.

 

The working hours are 5.0 per week – 1/2 hour in the morning and afternoon Monday – Friday.

 

The role is permanent, on a term-time only basis and the current pay rate is £9.43 per hour.

 

In this role, you will help to provide a safe crossing point for children on their way to and from school.

 

Reliability is key for this role as parents need to be assured that the SCPO is present so that children can walk safely to school.

 

Training and uniform will be provided.

 

The post requires an enhanced DBS check.

Vacancy for a Cleaner

 

A vacancy has arisen for the post of Cleaner at St Mary's C of E (Aided) Primary School, Chipping Norton, Oxforshire.

 

The postholder will be responsible for general cleaning duties throughout the school and will report to the Caretaker/Cleaner in Charge.  This position is for 10 hours per week (2 hours per day from 3.00pm to 5.00pm) 52 weeks per year with 24 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays entitlement.  There will also be an entitlement to paid leave, based on length of service but must be taken during the school holidays and must be agreed, in advance with the Headteacher, to reflect the needs of the school.

 

Pay:  Grade 1 (.1) £9.25 per hour (£17,842 pro rata)

 

Candidates will need to undertake a full Debarring Service check (DBS) to ensure suitability to work with children and two references will be required, one of which must be an employer’s reference.  A full history of employment must be given in the application form and candidates should use the space provided to detail relevant skills and experience for the job.
