Temporary Behaviour Support Worker/Teaching Assistant

 

February 2022 to July 2022 (there is a possibility of a permanent position).

 

Grade 4 (Scale point 4 to 5)

(£18,933 to £19,312 pro rata).

 

Hours of work:  8.30am to 12.30pm (4.0 hours daily) term time only.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring, self-motivated Teaching Assistant to join our committed team.  The job will involve working with individuals or groups of children on a range of curriculum activities and programmes.  The successful candidate will show that they are able to support children with additional needs.  Full training will be given by the class teacher/SENCo.  The successful candidate will have a positive approach to behaviour management and will have high expectations for all children.  In return, we can offer a lively, successful school environment with a highly motivated and supportive staff.

School Crossing Patrol (SCPO)

 

Oxfordshire County Council are looking for a School Crossing Patrol Officer posted near to St Mary’s Primary School, Chipping Norton.

 

The working hours are 5.0 per week – 1/2 hour in the morning and afternoon Monday – Friday.

 

The role is permanent, on a term-time only basis and the current pay rate is £9.43 per hour.

 

In this role, you will help to provide a safe crossing point for children on their way to and from school.

 

Reliability is key for this role as parents need to be assured that the SCPO is present so that children can walk safely to school.

 

Training and uniform will be provided.

 

The post requires an enhanced DBS check.

VACANCY

CARETAKER/CLEANER IN CHARGE

 

A vacancy has arisen for the post of Caretaker/Cleaner in charge at St Mary’s C of E (Aided) Primary School, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the general caretaking duties and supervision of the cleaning staff.  The post will include responsibility for the specific security of the building, cleaning, ordering & restocking cleaning materials, D.I.Y work and health & Safety checks around the site.

 

If you think you would like to join this friendly hard-working team you must be prepared to work 30 hours per week (split shifts) @ £10.01 per hour (Grade 5) which includes 24 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Vacancy for a Cleaner

 

A vacancy has arisen for the post of Cleaner at St Mary's C of E (Aided) Primary School, Chipping Norton, Oxforshire.

 

The postholder will be responsible for general cleaning duties throughout the school and will report to the Caretaker/Cleaner in Charge.  This position is for 10 hours per week (2 hours per day from 3.00pm to 5.00pm) 52 weeks per year with 24 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays entitlement.  There will also be an entitlement to paid leave, based on length of service but must be taken during the school holidays and must be agreed, in advance with the Headteacher, to reflect the needs of the school.

 

Pay:  Grade 1 (.1) £9.25 per hour (£17,842 pro rata)
