Funding & Charges
All 3 & 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours of FREE government funding. This is applied for and received directly to the school.
A completed nursery application form will allow us to apply for this for you and receive the funding for your child.
If you are a working parent, you may be entitled to an additional 15 hours of free funding (30 hours in total). You will need to apply for this through the government website. Once approved, you will be issued with a code. This needs to be included in your application form to be able to offer you 30 hours of free funding.
We can offer optional additional hours over and above your free funded hours, these are charged at £6.00 per hour and will be charged via invoice.

2-year-old Funding
2-year-old early years funding is available to eligible families. Criteria and application can be found on the local authority website. If you are approved, the code issued will need to be given to school to be able to apply for the funding. This will be paid direct to school.
30 hours of working parent entitlement can also be used for eligible 2-year old’s. You will need to apply for this through the local authority wesbite. Once approved you will receive an eligibility code which will need to be given to school in order to claim the funding.
If neither of the above funding is applicable for 2 year olds, we offer sessions at £6.00 per hour, charged via invoice.
We offer optional additional hours over and above your free funded hours, these are charged at £6.00 per hour and will be charged via invoice.

The following sessions are available and can be chosen to suit your needs for funded & additional hours with no restrictions on drop off and pick up times for funded only hours.

Lunchtime Sessions
We offer the lunchtime sessions at 12-1pm if you are staying for both sessions (all day).
School dinners are available to order via our lunch company at additional cost of £2.95. These are optional, otherwise we welcome a healthy packed lunch.
Wrap Around Care
We offer wrap around care from 7.45 – 5.30pm Monday to Friday to our Little Acorn’s (3–4-year-olds) at the following prices:

Additional Charges
There are no additional charges for consumables. Nappies, wipes, snacks etc are to be supplied by parents and carers.
If any chargeable trips or activities are arranged, these will be offered in advance and are optional.
Application Process
Please contact the school office with your enquiry and an application pack will be sent to you.
A Typical Day
We help children to settle into the routines of the school day, encouraging independence and confidence from the start. On arrival, children are greeted by all staff, they hang up their coats, organise their belongings and gather together for a morning song , story or rhyme. They then start to explore our rich learning environment both indoors and outdoors. Our experienced staff support children’s learning through high quality interactions, and we share their progress with you through photos and messages on DoJo and regular meetings.
Children are encouraged to care for their environment and help tidy up. Group times at the end of each session focus on stories, rhymes, phonics, maths and singing helping to foster a love of learning.
Lunch is enjoyed in the hall, with the option of a hot school meal or packed lunch from home.
At home time, children gather their belongings, put on their coats and wait until they are collected.
