At School, we are immensely proud of the dedicated group known as FOSM—the Friends of St. Mary’s School. This energetic team of volunteers is comprised of parents, friends, and staff who share a common vision: to enrich the educational experience of our children through collaborative fundraising initiatives.  

Thanks to the unwavering commitment of Friends, the impact of their fundraising efforts can be seen throughout our school. In recent years, we have made significant strides in upgrading our facilities. With their support, we have been able to provide the pupils with an outdoor classroom, which is being used at lunch and breaktimes. We have been able to purchase a variety of playground equipment, including basketball hoops for the pupils. Everything that they fundraise goes back into the school. 

If you’re inspired by the work we do at St. Mary’s and would like to get involved, we welcome new volunteers with open arms. Our fundraising events are reliant on the enthusiasm and commitment of individuals within our community, and we appreciate any support that you can offer. Whether it’s volunteering at our lively school disco, managing a stall at the Summer Fete, or contributing your expertise—every little effort makes a difference. 

Perhaps you have a knack for writing and would enjoy crafting pitches for grants, or you might like to help source raffle prizes. If baking is your forte, your cakes would be a delightful addition to any event. Alternatively, if you have skills in graphic design, crafting eye-catching posters to promote our activities would be invaluable.
